Meliabella is a mother, an assistant director of admissions at a local university, a writer, a knitter, & a dyer of fiber. She enjoys spending time with her family, knitting and hanging out with friends.

 There are currently 6 base yarns in the shop and two base rovings:

Sock Yarn

Toasty Sock - which is a superwash 75% wool, 25% nylon 4 ply yarn that measures 7-8 sts. per inch on size US#0-2 needle. This yarn comes in two skein types: Regular measuring 420 yards and BIG FOOTIES measuring 450 yards.

En Pointe Sock - is machine washable 100% merino wool 2 ply yarn that measures 6.5-7.5 sts. per inch on size US#2-3 needle. This yarn comes in two 185 yard put ups, perfect for two socks at once!

Lace

Chic Lace - 80% alpaca 20% silk measuring over 500 yards per skien.

Worsted

Svelte Worsted - 4 ply yarn measuring 219 yds. and contains 100% wool. The worsted weight 5 sts. per inch on size US#7 needle. Lux Worsted - Single ply yarn measuring 141 yds., 85% wool 15% alpaca. Worsted weight 4 sts. per inch on size US#9 needle.

Posh Worsted - Single ply yarn measuring 132 yds., 50% Llama and 50% wool. Worsted weight 4 sts. per inch on size US#9 needle.

Lux Worsted - single ply yarn measuring 141 yds., 85% wool 15% alpaca. Worsted weight 4 sts. per inch on size US#9 needle.

Rockin’ Rovin’

Merino Top - Hand dyed Merino Top roving, sold in 4 oz. braids.

BFL - Hand dyed roving, sold in 4 oz. braids.

Merino Tencel - Hand dyed roving, sold in 4 oz. braids. 

Couture Hand Spun

Couture Rayure Merino Top - KLY’s own merino top spun into self-striping, two-ply, worsted yarn - hand spun exclusively for KLY by Melissa. This yarn is so soft, squishy and beautiful. I don’t want to sell it, I want to KEEP IT!

Couture Melange Merino - KLY’s own merino top spun into blissfully blended, barber-poled, two-ply, worsted yarn - hand spun exclusively for KLY by Melissa. This yarn is so soft, squishy and beautiful. And the colors just blend beautifully!
